Ingredients: Organic Swedish lupin beans, shelled
Beautiful golden yellow beans with a firm texture. Buttery, full-bodied taste with a mild taste of bitterness at the end. Great for stews or as topping in salads and other main courses. Can also be a binder in veggie steaks or as main ingredient for making tempeh.
Rinse the beans thoroughly. Boil plenty of water and salt (2%) and let the beans cook gently for 25 minutes. For a more soft/loose consistency, soak for 8 hours and then boil for 15 minutes in salted water as above.
