Our Suppliers
We prioritise big packaging
As a package-free shop, we focus heavily on our suppliers, as they can play a significant role in reducing waste.
We work with a couple of big wholesalers, and we buy from them just like a big restaurant kitchen does – mostly in 10-25kg paper sacks (for things like rice, seeds, nuts, etc.)

We love local
Local collaborations
For us, local collaborations are about more than just short transport routes; they are also about relationships. When we know our producers personally, we can have real conversations about how products are made, packaged, and delivered.
That’s how our Malmö-made chocolate and candy arrive in sturdy boxes and buckets that get cleaned, collected, and reused over and over again. The same cycle repeats with our coffee beans, vegetables, halloumi, honey, and even eggs. We save the cartons and hand them back for another round.
By working closely with local suppliers, we not only reduce packaging but also support our community, and eating local is always an environmental plus.

We (Really) love local!
Reusable containers
Some of our suppliers deliver products in reusable glass bottles or jars, so the customer pays a charge (pant) for the container, which they get back when they return it. The bottle is then thoroughly washed by us and sent back to the supplier for sterilisation and refilling. We do this for our dairy products!
This is only possible with local suppliers, and it is an extra reason we prefer local - it allows the possibility of a pant system that works efficiently.
