Check for stones or other debris, then pick them out
Soak overnight or for at least 8-10 hours
In a large bowl add cold water, enough to allow for expansion. Then cover with a clean towel
Drain and rinse before cooking
Bring plenty of water and salt to a boil, then let the beans simmer gently for 10–15 minutes
They can also be cooked without soaking, gently simmer for about 25 minutes
We recommend boiling a larger batch and then freezing it in flat portions. These smaller portions can then be used as and when you need them!
