Soak the cushion: Before its first use, place the loofah soap cushion under running water until it swells and softens. This expands the fibres, making them more air-permeable
Shape the cushion: The initial soak will help it take its final shape
After each use, place soap on top: Put your bar of solid soap or shampoo directly onto the loofah cushion after you are finished with it
Allow to dry: The cushion will keep the soap dry, as water and soap residue will drain through to the bottom

Use for cleaning: You can use the loofah and any collected soap residue to clean your sink
Clean regularly: To keep the cushion fresh, you can boil it at up to 120 °C
